Moscow: Three of the four suspects charged with carrying out the concert hall attack in Moscow that killed more than 130 people admitted guilt for the incident in a Russian court Sunday. Moscow's Basmanny District Court formally charged Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev, 32; Saidakrami Rachabalizoda, 30; Mukhammadsobir Faizov, 19; and Shamsidin Fariduni, 25, with committing a group terrorist attack resulting in the death of others. The offence carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was sent on six days' ED remand by a special court in Delhi on Friday after marathon hearing on the remand application.Kejriwal will now remain in ED custody till March 28. His lawyers, led by senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi questioned his arrest and alleged that it was the result of election-related politics. Additional Solicitor General S V Raju, appearing for ED, described Kejriwal as the kingpin and mastermind the the Delhi liquor excise scam. He alleged that nearly Rs 600 crores were earned from privatizing Delhi liquor trade, out of which Rs 100 crore was given as kickback to Aam Aadmi Party.

As many as 41 students were disqualified after they were found having mobile handsets during the class 12 board exams in West Bengal, an official said on Thursday (February 29). President of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examinations, Chiranjib Bhattacharya, said that the candidature of two students were scrapped on Thursday, the remaining 39 were disqualified on previous dates. State Education Minister Bratya Basu said that four non-teaching employees were found to be allegedly involved in helping them adopt unfair means during the exams. He said that the council is taking disciplinary actions against them.
