Mayawati appoints her nephew Akash Anand as chief national coordinator of BSP

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Sunday appointed her nephew Akash Anand as chief national coordinator of the party, months after removing him from all party posts. She expressed hope that this time, Akash would work diligently to strengthen the party and uphold the ideals of the movement, while exercising greater caution.
